69kv 133kn Power Transmission Y Type Deadend Suspension Polymer Silicone Insulator
Suspension insulators support transmission lines on steel towers, isolating the lines from the tower. They play a key role in the safe supply of electricity. Based on the transmission voltage and usage environment, suspension insulators are used in configurations of two or more.

Suspension insulators are 
cheaper in cost compared to pin type insulators for operating voltage above 50kV. Each unit of suspension insulators (insulator disc) is designed for comparatively low voltage (11kV) and can be increase the insulation strength by connecting these insulator disc modules in series.

This arrangement 
provides partial protection from lightning. The suspension arrangement provides greater flexibility to the line. Suspension insulators are allowed to swing so that they can take up the position where mechanical stresses are minimum.
