Silicone insulators are also known as organic composite insulators, rubber insulators or non-porcelain insulators. They are composed of organic synthetic materials, mainly rods, gold fittings, umbrella skirt sheaths and bonding layers.
1. The composite insulator metal fittings are the mechanical load transfer parts of the composite insulator, which are assembled together with the mandrel to form the connecting parts of the insulator.The quality of the structure affects the strength of the mandrel and the mechanical properties of the insulator.
2. The umbrella skirt sheath is the outer insulator part of the composite insulator. Its function is to make the composite insulator have high enough resistance to wet flashover and pollution flashover, and protect the mandrel from atmospheric erosion.
4. One part of the bonding layer is to connect the sheath with the mandrel with adhesive, and the other part is to connect the umbrella skirt with sealing adhesive.The bonding quality is directly related to the level of internal insulation.

1. All composite insulators are packed in weatherproof containers in order to protect the products during land, air, and sea transportation. Several different grades of packaging can be offered depending on the mode of transport and the expected storage conditions. The packaging options that we offer are
1) standard grade/prefabricated packing,
2) economical grade/cardboard carton, and
3) best grade/closed wooden crate.
Since the user best knows their crate requirements, they should select the option that is most suited to their needs and include that information in the purchasing specification. Special packaging arrangements can be accommodated upon request.
