Power Transmission Tower Disc Ball Fiber Pin Type Toughed Suspension Glass Insulator
Each glass insulator unit consists of a toughened glass disc with a metal cap and pin securely cemented to either side. Designed with safety and reliability in mind, these insulators are engineered to fail visibly under overvoltage conditions-causing a puncture arc through the glass rather than a flashover. The heat-treated glass shatters to make any damage easily detectable from the ground, while maintaining full mechanical strength to ensure the insulator string remains intact and functional.
